キミ子方式で描く「あいちの伝統野菜」第六弾です。作家の佐藤昌宏（さとうまさひろ）氏と作品を撮影された亀谷泰朋（かめがいやすとも）氏のご厚意により、作品の写真データを使用しております。全７回にわけて水彩画で描いた「あいちの伝統野菜」35品目すべてを５品目ずつ掲載していきます。(Web掲載により実物より大きさや透明度などが異なる点をご了承ください）
愛知縮緬南瓜
皮全体に特有の小さなこぶで覆われた日本南瓜で水分が多くあっさりとした上品な甘みが特徴。
Aichi-Chirimen-Kabocha
It is a type of oriental pumpkin.”Chirimen” is crepe pattern.”Kabocha” is pumpkin.Its surface is covered with unique small bumps. It features elegant sweetness with plenty of moisture.
愛知本長なす
濃い黒紫の果皮で一般的なナスと比べて少し皮が厚いが、焼き物や煮物カレーなどに最適。
Aichi-honnaganasu
It is a kind of eggplant. The origin of the name is a long eggplant cultivated in Aichi prefecture. It is thicker skin than a common eggplant with a dark black violet peel a little. It is best for grilled or boiled to eat.
早生かりもり
この浅漬けは、淡緑色とシャキシャキした歯切れの良さから初夏を迎える食材となっている。
Wase-Karimori
It is early variet a kind of green melon. The characteristic of this vegetable is light green and goodness of crispness. Pickling it is a symbol of early summer.
愛知白早生玉ねぎ
フランスの白玉ねぎの改良品種で、辛みが少なく水にさらさずに、そのままでの生食がおすすめ。
Aichi-shiro-wase-tamanegi
It is an improved variety of white onions in France. It is suitable for eating raw as it is without exposing it to water because it has little bitterness.
餅菜（正月菜）
尾張地方のお雑煮に欠かせないもので、「正月菜」とも呼ばれ、小松菜より柔らかく、甘みがある。
Mochina
It is a conventional vegetable close to Japanese mustard spinach “Komatsuna”, also called New Year’s Day Green “Shougatsuna”. It is indispensable for “Ozoni” which is New Year ‘s foods in the Owari region. It is softer than Komatsuna and has sweetness.
